oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 12/28/2011 08:54 am The post used to have the self service stamp machines in the lobby and would kick the dollars out in change...that was in the Florida panhandle, when the Sacs first came out, and there was a mixture of SBA's as well. I spent almost the three rolls over the weekend; tips at restaurants, and small purchases and got the usual strange looks. There are a lot of coins in that pond. I noticed an Andrew Jackson Presidential dollar in there, looking at bit too green for my tastes. I will routinely get a $5 bill changed just to see which ones I find. I've found quite a few AU55's in there, would call them BU but since they HAVE been circulated I really can't. Seems like the vending co. is getting the latest releases to fill the change machine. I've even found some nice SBA's and SAC's there. I personally love the dollar coins, too bad people in this country are so ignorant of them and the amount the gov could save by switching to them Report this Post to the Staff
