I have noticed that many of you are filling holes in albums, what albums are you all using?
Thanks

No problem for me, it's just 2 x 2 anotated Mylar flips in clear pages with pockets to accept the flips.
I can get away with this, because of my wide collecting interests. I don't collect coins by series unless the occasion arises. I just collect the most interesting coins out of a series that I can afford.

This question gets asked a lot. I think most here choose Dansco. There are many links on this subject, you can do a site search Here is one link from a site search https://goccf.com/t/71413

I just got myself a Dansco for Christmas.
It is a very nice album. I think it will also display nicely.

Hey, wait a minute. Have you looked at Whitman Albums? And as a rule they are rather on the cheaper side to buy. Although almost all here use Dansco, you should really look into all the other brands available. You might end up with something else.

Most of mine are Dansco (13 albums), but I do have a few Whitman (6 albums). Dansco albums generally come in two versions per coin or set: with or without proofs. Whitman albums seem to come in only one version per coin or set: either with or without proofs. I started using the Whitman albums without proofs, but found all the rest come with proofs. I don't collect proofs, so the other albums are Dansco without proof.

As mentioned, this question comes up a lot. So before we drown in the sea of Danscos, just know there ARE other options. I'll speak out in favour of Intercept Shield albums. Their quality acid-free and good looking albums make them an excellent choice for any collector, in my opinion. I still contend that most people that swear by their Dansco albums have never even held or seen an Intercept Shield album. Intercept Shields haven't been around as long as Dansco or as readily available, but they are worth seeking out. Just my Two Cents.

I'd also vote for Intercept Shield. I owned a couple Whitman's, and in my opinion they don't seem as sturdy as the other two. Dansco is OK, it's just my opinion that they're really ugly. Intercept are the nicest looking, and very well built, I just ordered 5 of them Saturday.

I like Danscos for my ASEs and coins that require some extra protection while showing off both sides; however, for simple roll searching I simply use Whitman or H. E. Harris (which is owned by Whitman) as they're cheap ($4 a volume) and consistently work well. :-)

I have seen the Intercepts. Sorry, Dansco every time. Danscos are acid free and archival as well. The whole ion exchange resin thing for the Intercept is a marketing thing IMO. Not worth the extra cost IMO. I dont know about anyone else here, but I am pretty sure chlorine or sulfur gas is not going to be floating through my house/safe to require deionization.

I have owned or examined other brands... I settled on the Dansco for a few reasons: Price Availability Wide variety of albums
I didn't want to get with a brand and then have to buy a Dansco anyway because that other brand didn't make every album I wanted. I wanted all my albums the same brand.
I have owned Whitman albums, and they were... how do I say it nice? They were less than durable. Nuff said.

I own Dansco as well as Intercept Shield albums. The quality of the Intercept Shield beats the Dansco hands down. And I'm not buying that the Dansco's are acid-free... my '89 ASE in my 7070 was perfect in '89 when I put it in, but it's not now... it has a 1/4 gold tone around the rim both sides from being in the album... and the album is kept in an air-tight plastic bag too. Google it and you'll find many similar stories from other collectors as well. I am slowly replacing my Danscos with Intercept Shield albums, because I think my coins are worth protecting.
