I dont have any trajans yet but when I do get one I hope it looks something like this. I like the SC in wreath reverse and the dark patina on this one. I just put it on my wishlist.

actually I do have a trajan but its a Dupondius and it never came in the mail today so I was just looking around at trajans to see the prices. I hope its in tomorrow and I will post it.

The coins of Trajan sure can have some very long legends. I have a dupondius with 45 letters in the obverse legend. I've seen some with as many as 52.

mine has 44 letters on the obv legend-IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P... but you cant see all the letters.

The OP coin is a nice example of the orichalcum as. It also comes in a semis half that size. Both have radiate crowns. The as is half the size of the ordinary copper version. You don't see these everyday.
