Spent $4 in halves and dollar coins at McDonalds for breakfast

Well this is not nice. After worked today I stopped by a bank that always had dollar coin rolls to replenish my supply. It's pretty much the only one around here that has them regardless if any customers bring them in. When I got to the teller and asked for a roll I was surprised to hear they didn't have any. She then asked the other tellers there and they responded the same. Finally, she turned around and asked her manager if they could order them and the manager just shook her head without saying a word.

I honestly don't know of any other banks in my zip code that still stock dollar coins. It just boggles the mind that here the Fed is sitting on over a billion dollars of "surplus" dollar coins and we can't even get them if we want to.

Anyway, of my remaining coins I spent 6 Sacs on a chicken wrap today.

Hopefully I'll be able to continue to contribute to this thread . . .

Went to Denny's with my wife for breakfast; coffee is usually decent there but this time it was terrible.
