Here's to hoping it does. I have 3 sets and plan to sell one to recoup the costs of some of the other two.
I'm really loving the 100k mintage of the 25th set now!
Now I'm not collecting these sets to make money, far from it, but it does feel pretty good to know that at least some of my U.S. Mint purchases are in the red. One of the VERY few.

I have 5 on the way in different orders just in case there is a spike like the others. Gonna grab a pcgs 70 set too as soon as possible, found 1 listed for only 270 hopefully that price holds for a bit. I like where the mintage ended up for sure, just hate how it got there lol.
I was a skeptic but if the early trends are any indication looks like these should have a decent return coming. The 25th set really is the gem of the group though, 25th just has a nice ring to it too

Does the PCGS 70 cert really mean that much? I guess if you can sell two surplus sets and snag a 70-graded set in return, why not. I guess.

The 70 cert does, NGCs is good too but PCGS has a higher premium. My collection is all PCGS anyway even without the added premium I like the look of their holders more and hate having different slabs lol

It was interesting, thinking back I guess it is logical to assume the surge would have been higher on the holiday. That said though it really did die fast and never would have guess about 5k of sales on the final days. At the very least thought it would have done another 15k at least
Really weird...and the numbers will probably adjust downward when the returns, cancellations and bad orders are removed

Quote: Well, those of us who decided to buy this set own 2 of the (by far) lowest mintage #'s in the history of the 26-year series. Yup....let's see...only the 95-W proof, 2011 RP, 2011 S, and the 2006 RP have a lower mintage since 1986..and...that 2006 RP is on shaky ground depending on what the audited final numbers of this set are

So when will we see the final numbers on the mintage? Will we have to wait until all returns and cancellations take place after the last phase of shipments? Could it be December before we have a true final number? Thoughts anyone?

Teach wont be till next year but at this point doesn't really matter. This and the 06 are basically identical for all purposes but yea itd be nice to say in the ebay listing 3rd lowest minted coin ever ect

With enough cancellations and returns, and credit card issues I heard that it might even end up lower than the 2006 issued coins. I was just wondering when we would find out for sure. 2013 seems like a long wait. I liked it better when they said there would be 100 K and we knew the final mintage before it ever started.

I liked that better too. Unfortunately with some ship dates basically in november we have to give it quite some time to give those orders a chance to be returned or canceled. End of novemeber is probably best case for finding out the true mintage assuming theyres no delays. Quote: Inclusion of a UNC coin would have been nice. Not opposed to that idea, if theyre going to do the mint to demand though I do like that every coin in the set is at least unique. If they were going to add a coin to the set my vote would have been a ultra high relief For mintages though barring a huge return rate theyre basically the same

Remember...the 2006 Annie set had only one unique coin with a mintage of 250k....this set has two

I was one of the people that ordered on the 4th. Power was out in large parts of five states. I wonder how much of a dent that put into things?
Maybe I'll get lucky and they will break a die right near the end and I'll end up with a "Reverse of 13"!! lol

I'm excited about owning a RP. As a new collector I'd love to own the 2011 set but thats not something I'd probably buy off ebay ungraded, and I apparently like my coins ungraded in their OGP. Maybe thats so I don't have to spend a bunch to get back grades less than I hope. Ungraded they're all 70's in my mind :) And I'm not really in it to make money. I think silver is overpriced as a bullion investment currently so I just buy the collectible issues and that probably won't change without a decent drop in silver.
