New Silver Eagle SF Mint Two-Coin Set

Same with mine, shipped out of Indiana. Now they have been stuck at Earth City, MO for the last 2.5 days. GRRR!!

PBGS is in Indy. They are the contractor (private, for profit business) that does order fulfillment for the mint. It would be far more expensive to ship to end customers from each mint facility. Think of the government infighting over who is top dog and gets to ship when sets like the 2011 ASE go out. Unfortunately, PBGS sucks at least as much as any gov outfit would.

eng5858, thanks for the great pics. I won't get to see any of my coins until I get back from vacation. At least UPS has a new service where you can tell them to hold all packages until you return from vacay and then they deliver them all at once. My first two sets will get here tomorrow but I will already be gone.

Sets shipped after the cutoff date won't ever be eligible for FS/ER labels. PCGS allows sealed mint packages that were shipped before the CO to be sent in. NGC does not, they have to have the coins before the CO date to get ER labels. For these sets, you can send coins in capsules (or flips if you want) before the CO dates and still get set & FS/ER labels. Things could get complicated if the C&C set starts shipping before the SF set CO date.

Thank you for the time and effort in posting the pictures.... I would say tomorrow alot of people will receive their sets also, I am told I will, being I ordered my set on the first day at about 6 pm........

You know the postman will come extra late tomorrow too just to make the wait longer

My order was placed on the 1st day at 12:08 they tell me the reason it hasn't shipped is because the order was large 12 sets and takes extra scrutiny
which in my opinion is a croak
