That's what I'm wondering about when my set comes in October as well. This is my first order from the mint, so I honestly don't know. Do the late orders get the returns?

Honestly dont know if they do or not. But they arent supposed to reship returns, whether or not that happens no one knows though.

Lol do some insignificant thing to the sets only you would know to look for and see if you get the same too again just for fun

Thanks SD, I decided to cancel my order with the mint and get the PCGS PF70 set from silvertowne. Save me time and hopefully in the long run some money lol.

For that price definitely saved money. I got mine there as well after SD mentioned it. Wonder how long theyll be in stock

I was thinking about canceling my order too but with them already going on ebay for 180-240 with quite a large percent cracking 200 I'm going to wait it out some more

Unfortunately I can't afford both and only ever wanted just the one set for myself and being able to get PF70 for such a small premium it was well worth canceling to me.

I would have done the exact same thing as you in that situation. After all the costs of us getting a single set grading I think it was only like a 20 dollar premium. Itd be 30 (with a 30 day wait) to get it graded, 8 dollar order fee, like 16 to get it shipped back and about 10 to ship it there. With the set costing 155 with shipping and grading fees thats about 219 so it was about a 21 dollar premium for the perfect set as opposed to risking it on your own.

They have a great deal going on right now.

I picked up two 70 sets and I have one raw set coming from the mint. I think I'll keep it and see how everything plays out in the aftermarket. Glad some fellow CCF members are getting in on the SilverTowne deal while it lasts!

The site says Out Of stock, at the time I placed my order they still had them must have been a run on them :-)

Thanks again SD for the heads up.

With the run they will probably raise prices if they get more

And isn't the sealed box rule the same for all the TPGs

NGC requires the coins be RECEIVED by NGC within the 30 day limit. ANY coins received by them after that will get a regular label. It doesn't do the "sealed Mint box" thing for ER

Postmarks mean zero.....

Man, I have been out of town all week. I would have loved to pick up a graded ms70 set from silvertowne but like others have said it is out of stock now. I have a total of four sets one of which I opened but after magnification I could tell it was a ms69 at best. Does anyone else know where you can get an PCGS FS in MS70 on the net? TY

TBK, I know Modern Coin Mart is getting them in soon, but I think they are going to be considerably more expensive (~$290). I just checked and SilverTowne has NGC 70's in stock for $240.

Also, I know SilverTowne ran out of stock of PCGS 70s at least once yesterday and then had them again, so maybe they are updating it as they get more in.

SDCrow +1....You deserve much more for that wonderful referral! Silver Towne is awesome selling 70 sets at such a fair price. Glad to see quite a few of you jump on it.

GhostRider .....Yea that's a fat chance!!! I forget the actual term they use for that, I'm not positive but It may be called Smart Post, or something along those lines. It drives me crazy when UPS drops off my package to our local Post Office, for the Post Office to deliver during normal route. The @#$%$ UPS Truck has to pass my house to get to the Post Office...lol Then their's no guarantee the mail man will carry it right away. I know the Post Office has received packages this way before and have held on to them 1-3days until finally delivering it.
This is especially true when you pay the premium for faster delivery.

Mach1 great comparison to the 25th Anv Set, My only concern is these 2 coin sets don't seem to stay in presentation mode as easy as the 25th Anv Set. When I stand the tray up in the holder (Box) I have to play with it to get it to stick, as where with the 25th Set. The magnets grabbed much easier...IDK maybe its just me..... Anyone else having similar problems with standing the tray up?
