My order of five APMEX 1oz silver rounds at spot arrived today. It was a special offer if you used the APMEX app to make a purchase.

I finally did it, in spite of my great love for shiny silver, I crossed over to the dark side and bought my first AGE. Actually my first gold bullion coin. Now out of guilt I am shopping for more silver.....

Nice to see metals off their peaks. Buying opportunities! Maybe time for some gold. The old Canadian $100 1/2 oz proofs are calling again.

Buying opportunities!

I've been thinking that lately, too. I hope it extends another several weeks!

I agree, but also note the gold to silver ratio is on the rise and I am now thinking to buy even more silver. I want to get some more ASEs, but the silver Maple Leafs seem the best deal right now. Waiting to see if the price dips a bit more in the coming days.

.
I am in the same boat. I have avoided ASE premiums for the last four yrs. Opting for the lowest premium in other govt. minted silver. But now that ASE premiums have dived, I am considering them. They still demand a higher sell price as well.
The current chart on Kitco shows the price flat lining with the previous 2 days. Then another dip. And each dip trends slightly lower than the previous two.
I do not think it has bottomed out yet. The demand for physical delivery from the Comex, LBME, and others is draining supply. Spot price is driven by paper contracts. The latest figures that I recall is that there are about 250 contracts outstanding for every ounce actually deliverable.
I hope it falls back to 10 or 11 per oz. Them hang on to your shorts.

Unfortunately, that higher sell price just drives me back to the Maples. I am going to to continue to sit for a week or so now - or more - and decide if next is silver or gold.... or just find some coins to collect instead for the short term. Either way I like shiny things.
