I ordered one from Goldmart as well - Hope I have a better experience this time as when I ordered the WP set I rec'd an email saying there were shipping them all out of a hotel room then a few days my order was mysterious canceled.. Never responded to my emails took over an hour with their "live" chat to get some answers.

For those who missed out on the RP Buffalo from the mint, here is another chance to buy it for US$1,740 incl. delivery: http://www.ebay.com/itm/380718342383They should have added to their description that the coin is unlikely to score higher than 68 from a NGC or PCGS... :)

That's kinda dirty that they put their rejects up for sale...

Idk if I'd call it dirty, MCM is a quality company in my opinion. To me they are the best on ebay for smaller purchases, you know the ones the other big boys charge $8.95 for? I have bought many world issues, 2-3 coins at a time for ,very reasonable prices. The other day they have 1 oz platinum eagles for $150 less then the mint. I really wanted one at the discount but as I don't think it is dirty I don't personally want anyones "sloppy 2nds" so I stuck with the Mint. Back to the topic, my RP has officially made it to PCGS, hoping for the best.

u know, I would be happy to just get if I had missed the order period.
So I mean, even with no grading, this coin will be a hit.
I don't plan on grading, tho in the future as a speculator I would be doing that.
Coins are a wonderful way to make money.

Silvernewbie I like your perspective on McM. I have had nothing but good transactions with them

I cant imagine there were that many rejects from grading with the quality of these. I bet there did buy some to sell raw for people that want it but I'm sure some rejects are mixed in. I dont have any complaints about them though and selling rejects raw is pretty standard for bulk buyers

Received my PCGS 70's from Goldmart today and they're beauties. Was a little worried given their reputation, but they came through with flying colors.

Why do you say they are rejects? You think they are selling extras that didn't make the cut on the high grading? Some just want the coin and will be happy with that. I have had no issues with MCM when ordering..
@addielise - when did you order your coin from GM?

Quote: Why do you say they are rejects? Generally speaking there will be some rejects sold raw. The bulk buyers buy so many they dont really have to sort though them. They just specify a minimum grade of 69 and send the lot in. The ones that dont grade they wont get charged for and theyll sell raw. For this coin though theres probably very few rejects. Out of about 5500 coins graded PCGS has graded 8 lower than a 69. 6 68s 1 67 and somehow a 65 that had to have been mishandled I'm guessing. Gold coins generally have a higher quality from their handling and West Point does do a really good job with quality so the rejected sets being sold raw is probably minimal on these.

Havana, I ordered the Flag Labels on 8/23. Definitely not one of the first to purchase from them, but maybe they got the Flag labels back from PCGS first.

I received another email from the U.S. Mint. This time my expected shipping date went from 9/30/13 to 9/27/13.
Welcome news indeed!

@Afterimage: The Mint sure likes to email you. I've gotten no such emails this time, I just check the order online. The date has moved four times, starting with 8-23 to 9-08 to 9-27. Today it moved up two days to 9-25 so these coins are coming down the pike. Getting the little bugger in hand before month end would really be a coup.
The regular proof Buffalo been back ordered the last week now with a rolling shipping date, so the Mint will probably make more as there is 3 1/2 months left in the year. Still, I don't anticipate the regular Buffalo to sell more than 20,000. Compared to the regular bullion at 195,000 sold thus far, the regular proof is a good deal even with its $300+ premium over the bullion coin.

So the regular proof Buff was taken down for repricing, then popped back up at the same $1740 price, now it's gone from the website completely?

Never mind, it's back up now and at $1690, must have had some issues resetting the price so they had to take it down completely.
