SA4H, yes one coin. I wish I know the graded 70's would be under $1900. I may have gone that route and had a perfect 70. My track record with coins and quality has not been good.

I had a great experience with Goldmart and would buy from them if thinking about adding a graded one. Under $1900 seems fair. I'm just waiting to see how a return/exchange turns out. If it works out I will be a repeat customer.

That $1889 price from Goldmart for a presales 70 is a bit too low, it's only $250 more from the issue price NOT including the TPG cost. I'd jump on it if I collected slabbed 70s. @SA4H: hehe, I wish. I am purist collector that think it's bad form/karma to profit off of other shut out collectors, thus I only bought the one coin for my collection. Never flip for profit as tempting as it may be. Those kind of activities in my mind always have some kind of residual payback. My next big fatty is going to be the proof Buffalo to go with the RP. Have a couple of months to put funds together for that one, I expect.

False alarm. UPS made a return trip tonight. I opened the box and inside was an empty proof box. I guess I didn't look at the shipping info close enough. When the proof Buffalo came a week ago the sleeve was damaged. I called and asked for another one. They must have misunderstood because they sent me a free complete display box but not the sleeve. I guess I will save that for down the road.
The wait for the RP continues.

I agree that Goldmart is pricing it at a low end, which mean it's good for us collectors. For the most appreciation in value, PCGS PF70 is the best options. Other retailers are setting the price bar higher.... I can see Goldmart will feel the pressure from the others; but this's better for collectors.
However negative experience other had with Goldmart, I have to give them credit for low price (they consistently offering equal to or lower price than others) on pretty much all new release PM coins. The disadvantage is that they don't carry older release and slow processing/delivery time.
I am about half way there to get my graded one from Goldmart.....
It's a good idea to also get the regular Buffalo proof also (diversify); however, my heart still itching for a second Rev PF Buffalo instead. My daughter born 2012 and I am expecting a son this November so if they don't have the same coin, they may fight over it down the road..... that seemed to be a good excuse.... hehehe.
Btw, what's the current sale figure for the Regular Buffalo Proof? Any projection on the final mintage? What are the average mintage of other years Reg. PF? Up until 2012, which Reg PF appreciated in value the most? Too many questions.... so sorry...hehehe.

As of today 36,257 with 14 days to go. They update it daily on the mint site. It has slowed in last week. If gold moves another $25 they will reprice next week to $1790. That could help keep it down too. I find it hard to believe another 20,000 will sell in 14 days when the big houses were buying upfront.
2008 was low at 18863. That one shows a list of about $3400. in 09 and 10 they minted about 50,000 each year. In 06 they did 246,000. I don't have the 12 numbers and would love to know where 13 is so far.

Thank you omxfl. I looked around on the site but never under the "About" menu.
I hope the 2013 proof stays under 15000. That would put it lower then the 08.

Anyone seeing (and fuming about) the prices for the ANA/Chicago RevPr70 with Mint director signature on the COA? silvertowne sold out at $3499. They are selling like hotcakes. I don't get it. I reely don't know why someone would pay such a premium. I do find all these different labels confusing, some have 100th anniv. and some don't. Each dealer seems to have a different label... what's the deal with that!!
I agree with everyone, if your kicking yourself about the 2006 AE RevPR and the 2009 UHR (and my butt IS sore after paying todays prices), this one's a no brainer. History says it all. Get as many as you can afford.

@simon
Well, I think its a beautiful thing that a coin starts at 1750, gets graded with a show label at that..and a signature from a mint official and goes for almost 4K... Markets are a beautiful thing because if it wasn't wanted the prices would not be where they are at so more power to the coin markets! I just LOVE seeing the prices sky rocket.
I agree with you, if you can afford one, get one. If you can get 10, get 10. This coin is one for the record books!!

So many questions.........
Does anyone believe there's a difference between the Black Diamond, Bison, and Flag labels for the Buffalo's.
Why did the Black Diamond sell out before the others? Forgive my naivety, but don't they all contain the same darn coin!!!!

With gold and silver on the upswing, I bought my RPB today @ $1740. I have a feeling that the RPB price will increase before the window closes to buy them.
