Holy crap, changed to In Stock and Reserved and credit card got hit this morning, now I see that it actually got shipped today! Ordered at 12:02. Two others ordered 2 and 4 minutes later didn't make it out, hopefully tomorrow.

I pulled the trigger and got a second one, powder is running low at the moment for other wants, but I'm expecting (imho) a price increase before the end date so why not it's just Gold any way  |

The bulk of the ANA RPs were sold to dealers as expected. Bet they have the bulk of Internet and phone sales as well. Already there is talk of graded examples from ANA at. $2,899! Bet FS PR70's will start out of the gate at $2,995 and hit $4K before anyone blinks. And there will be people buying the RP at these inflated prices instead of from the Mint. Speaking of which the RP is poised to advance another tier early tomorrow to $1,740. Considering what dealers are asking for its a relative bargain. Some buyers with #4192xxxx order numbers got their orders fulfilled today. I ordered the day before the first price hike so I don't expect shipping until early next week. #4194xxxx. |

My coin is sitting in the UPS truck waiting to deliver Wednesday. Can't wait to see it. I hope I have better luck with this one. Had to send back the last two things I bought.

That's $100 price hike w/in two weeks.
Byzybackson, what are the dealer price for the raw coin right now?
May be I should trade my First Spouse Mary Todd Lincoln Proof & Uncirculated gold set for this coin, instead of trying to sell them and buy the RP Buffalo gold coin....

Bruce, if they are available, which is rather unlikely from a dealer that bought them at the ANA in Chicago, a raw coin's asking price might be $2,000. Even a private collector selling it on e-Bay might get bids exceeding that sum. Check out the BINs and completed auctions on e-Bay. Many are finishing at $1,950 and above. I expect the coin to cost more after the sale window shuts on September 5th, so if you are going to act, do it quickly. It's a HOT, HOT, HOT most desired coin as expected for this year, very similar to the feeding frenzy on the 25th Anniversary ASE set two years ago. A special coin like this only comes along every few years that gets even non-coin collectors excited. Last time was the UHR. Whatever route you choose, I wish you best of luck. Edited by Bizybackson

I'm pulling for gold to gain $35-40 by next Wed and it will reprice to $1790. The price increases have slowed sales. Maybe it will stay under 100,000. My coin is sitting at UPS. They have to try to deliver it 3 times before I can pick it up. Since they come mid morning makes it hard to be here to get it.

I've just put my gold coins (in my signature link "My coins available for trade.") up on craigslist.... I hope I will raise enough cash before the next price hike.....
Bizybackson, I understand your point and totally agree.... I assume you are buying more than 1 coin.... hehehe
