Hello all,
I was wondering if any one has an ASE Proof coin in original government packaging. I just received one and the "air tight" isn't air tight. I can open it. Is this normal for the ASE proof coins from that time period?

It's normal.
Every air-tite holder is supposed to do that.

My 1986S proof 'air tite' opens much easier than my 2014's.

It's normal. Air-tite's back then weren't as nicely or accurately made resulting in some being easy to open. Although in general all Air-tite's are open-able.
