wheatchaser140 Pillar of the Community United States 2368 Posts	Posted 06/23/2014 5:24 pm The 1988 is the result of copper-nickel changing color and corroding by being underground. Possibly an MD find that someone spent. Not an error though. The 1993 I'm a little less sure about. Might be just toned. Don't know what's going on with the surface. Environmental damage maybe? I have some other denominations like a few 1966 double profile Kennedy half dollars and the Tsunami wave Washington quarter. I Just need help with #1. verification and #2. some advice on whether to sell now because of more becoming known, or waiting to sell because perhaps the value will increase? Assuming of course I could even bring myself to let them go, hahaha, I've become rather attached to my coins!! (believe it or not)haha Report this Post to the Staff
