The 1988 is the result of copper-nickel changing color and corroding by being underground. Possibly an MD find that someone spent. Not an error though.
The 1993 I'm a little less sure about. Might be just toned. Don't know what's going on with the surface. Environmental damage maybe? Again probably not an error.
Another one to carry in your pocket for a time and see if it looks antiqued? You might want to take images of the transition of the coin. Like one image per week to see the progress.
I Just need help with #1. verification and #2. some advice on whether to sell now because of more becoming known, or waiting to sell because perhaps the value will increase? Assuming of course I could even bring myself to let them go, hahaha, I've become rather attached to my coins!! (believe it or not)haha
