NGC Grading Question On Capped Bust Half Dollar / CBH

Connor Pillar of the Community United States 2130 Posts	Posted 08/02/2014 07:11 am Just wondering why NGC did not give this CBH a VF Details grade? It seems to me the scratches on the obverse and rim damage on reverse would send it into the details category. kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 08/02/2014 07:54 am I suspect NGC decided that the marks were within normal expectations for a coin showing that amount of circulation wear. BTW that listing is in violation of ebay rules. "Coins minted before 1980 must show the full front and back of the holder. Coins minted in 1980 or after must show the full front of the holder."
