i have the chance to buy a minelab XT1800 gold detector for 350$ but I'm not prospector would it make a good coin\jewelry shooter

I have no experiance with that particular detector .

Take a look in my sig line ,,click the link titled TQ ,,there are a bunch of guys that use minelabs over there ,,with a minelab specific forum . Kellyco posts there and they sell the minelabs and can give you the scoop on that machine .
