Sliver Coins, Toning Or Dirty - Coin Community Forum

xd99xd Valued Member Canada 174 Posts	Posted 07/29/2015 2:10 pm I dont know how the coins looked from the start as I found the in my grandmothers jewelry box. My mom said it was a wedding gift or something. I was thinking they could be low circulatcirculated but I dont see that much wear or fingerprints. If the haze is from moisture should I try to remove if there is a way or not. And is are any coin supply store in Vancouver to get a new case? Report this Post to the Staff
DEVLEC Pillar of the Community Canada 3234 Posts	Posted 07/29/2015 2:28 pm The coins look fine...so,..don't touch them and never try to clean them. (fist rule of coin collecting). If you touch the coins..you immediately kill any future added value. The case also look fine. If you want,..wrap the clear plastic cased coins is some protective outer slip to reduce the chance of marking the soft clear plastic. Keep them in a low humidity area .."if at all possible".
