PORBANDAR
Name of this state was known as Ranpur and later Chaaya before it reverted to its original name of Porbandar in 1785.AD.The state remained tributary to Baroda. It passed on to British control and after Indian independence is part of the state of Gujarat.

The most striking feature of Porbandar coins is the "sri rana" legend.

@drnsreedhar, a quick question for you. What is the character on the rev that is a loop near the center of the coin (as opposed to the loop in the lower right)? I feel like I have seen this same shape elsewhere, either in your posts or else in one of the coin submitted to CCF folk for their identification. Thanks!

PUTHUKOTTAI
This state was formed founded around 1686.AD by Raghunatha Raya. They were allies of the British and enjoyed relative independence. Now this area is part of the Thiruchi (Thiruchirapally/TriChinapally)district of the state of TamilNadu.

RADHANPUR

In early eighteenth century, taking advantage of the death of Aurangazeb, the army chief based at Radhanpur declared independence. Though Marathas captured most of the occupations Radhanpur held,it remained under the Marathas as a separate territory. It later passed on to British control and is now part of the state of Gujarat.
This is a uniface copper Paisa with the initial letter of the ruler's name struck in Gujarati local script.

RAMPUR
This was a tiny state that was established in about 1774.AD. it remained feudatory to Lunavada.It is now part of the state of Uttarpradesh.
