AXBROWN New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 06/15/2016 6:29 pm So I picked up these two coins for 25 cents each. I'm guessing their replicas, but curiosity still buzzes within. After some research they appear to be a crusaders coin from the county of Tripoli, and the other a Reyes Catolicos coin. The Tripoli coin is mass-produced and sold in sets of replica "crusader coins", like the ones sold here. The Reyes Catolicos is a very commonly replicated coin, what with the connections to Columbus, pirates and all that; yours is not quite as bad as the gilt-bronze ones that often turn up on the forums, but it still bears some similarity to those - such as "R-E-backwardsZ" instead of "REX". Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
