I'm new to coin hunting but the date and mint mark look strange

No doubling, just damaged. Notice the inside of loop in 2, that's a retained shaving hit, something hit it going in a downward direction by didn't cut it completely off. Other digits are just smashed, time for retirement!


Also, it appears you have a "spinner line", circular line above the date is caused by a rotating roll end crimper, the metal edge hit this one a bit heavy, usually because inside the roll was more than 50 coins or a bent coin in the mix.

Not a doubled die, just damage. Here's a resource for CRH: http://coppercoins.com/ You can use the "die variety search" on the left hand side to pull up images of known varieties for any year and mint mark combination. Good luck!
