Superb Massachusetts BarryG and that 1834 little sister still has some great luster showing! I've spent all last year learning as much as I can about Colonials, my next collecting adventure, too bad the prices have gotten so crazy on them today. I've bought a bunch of books though.

@westcoin: That's my first and only colonial, and I only recently purchased it. I don't think I'll be diving into the deep end any time soon, but I'm certainly thrilled to have gotten it.

BarryG, I feel you, my first interest are Vermont, and Fugio coinage but the prices today? Oi vey! Maybe I'll try for a Constellatio or Rosa America. If I only got into the serious Colonial stuff 30 years ago. Instead I was buying and selling proof/mint sets, common stuff like Morgan dollars, and even some smaller pre 1933 gold coins, back then you could purchase a whole mini hoard of colonial coin in a cigar box for what? $100 maybe? Now that doesn't even really get you a single coin that is very recognizable not to mention even attributable. Heck even the books on them are pretty expensive too, not that I mind paying for a good reference or reading book.
