I often thought of seeing an old, beat-up and tattered 7070 album (or any album), opening it and seeing an above average complete set would give that collection total and complete character. JMO

jbuck- I've been looking at your 7070 link. I haven't been following all your posts. Are those your most recent pictures?

Yes. The coins that looks "off" compared to others are recent purchases that I edited into the existing photos. Once I fill the last two holes I might perform an updated and proper photo session.

Thanks. I had just noticed that there were several coins in your album that you could easily upgrade for little cost. Franklin or Jefferson nickel if you haven't already. I like the look without changing them. Just wanted your opinion if you did or didn't and why.

I am trying to get examples in at least extremely fine condition. Those SLQs deserve it. My new favorite type. They make the others look ho hum. It's going to take time to obtain nice Barbers, capped, and seated liberties.

Still looking for the right 1853 Seated Liberty quarter with arrows and rays.

If you like those, you must like the Seated halves as well.

Yes, the arrows and rays on both the quarter's and halves are great! Love them!

I am not looking to upgrade anything. Some of those coins have been in there 25 years. All three Kennedy half dollars and the Franklin are roll finds. I am rather attached to them as they represent the journey.

Excellent! That's what I was thinking. I have some circulated coin roll finds in my album as well. Thanks!

Mine seems to fit the bill. It's not that old, but I bought it at a low price, and it's pretty banged up.

If it can still hold the coins it counts.
