Laggy for me, too. Got the two dollars, clad half, and the half dollar set. Need that half dollar set to keep my Kennedy half collection complete! Oh yeah, and a couple of the Innovation Dollars I'd put off to save $4.95 shipping. :-) |

I had all kinds of page refresh issues in the beginning. Then when I finally got to checkout it said I had 2 saucers in my bag. Must of hit it twice while going back and forth. So then I tried to change it to one saucer and I got the big blue spinning death circle, so after a bit I panicked and tried hitting the checkout button and that worked, but it worked for 2 saucers and I only wanted one, but I get the feeling I am going to like being a proud owner of 2 saucers.....haha. Glad that is over with :) Then I went after the 5 half dollar sets, it was slow, but not as slow as the saucer page and it went through. First order # was 63159xx.

My guess is that they didn't expect a lot of order and/or they were struggling making such large curve coin (quality issue) so the number of coins available for sale is limited.

I came back and order the 5oz.
The site was faster (done in 1 min vs 3 mins).
Completed at 9:26 (20 mins later) and the order number is 63413xx.
In that span of 20 mins, there were 22,500 orders processed.

This was absolutely the worst ordering experience that I've ever had with the mint. It took 16 minutes total before it finally worked. I only ordered the 5oz dollar and the half dollar set on my initial order. All of the issues happened during the payment process. I got an "Oops... Something went wrong" message, a "We are sorry, but we are unable to process your payment and submit your order at this time..." message and a "No payment methods are available for the combination of products and quantities in your cart. Please edit your cart to continue." After about 13 minutes, I went from my computer to my phone and tried. I never actually received an order confirmation, but found out that it went through when I received an email confirmation. I then went back and placed another order for the coins that I knew wouldn't sell out. It only took me a couple of minutes to place the order, but the confirmation took another fifteen minutes.

Only ordered the Kennedy set. Taking a wait and see approach on the other coins particularly the flying saucer...100K is too many IMHO, the novelty will wear off like it has for the ATB 5oz, although this is a one-off unlike that series. Not sure if there is a 5oz. slated for for 2020 Basketball commems. Edited by Bizybackson

Response was slow, but I was able to order 1 5oz, one $5 and 5 half sets.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't want the half dollars, dollars and 5 oz saucer in OGP. I plan to buy them in NGC slabs..... or maybe PCGS. I got two half dollar sets.
