Cheek scratches hold this to 65 despite nice fields. Red obverse, toned reverse, I'll say MS-65RB. To me, worth less than 20 cents.

Agreed, first time posting here. If coins are graded here, cool. I posted also because I retrieved this cent from a collectors roll wrapped in brown paper, from the condition of the coin, is this circulated, I think not because of the intact field and wheat tips, so how does the device get scratched so badly, and the field not, luck?

The high points tend to be scratched/ worn first. This is pretty much the case for all coins.
