Please post a full coin photo of the obverse and a full coin photo of the reverse as well as one or two close ups when needed in your posts. I have seen that before but can't remember if it is associated with a DDO maybe? Check DDO-002 & 011 http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...O%201936.htm

I don't think it's associated with a DDO, I forgot what you call these but it happens quite often to the right side of the Y in LIBERTY.

However it does look like DDO-011, but you'd have to post more photos for confirmation.

EDIT: After looking at your newly edited pics, I don't think you have DDO-011. Again, I forget what the exact vocabulary for when part of the devices are cut off like that, but I'm sure Coop will have an answer.

The DDO-002 can have the broken leg of the "R" as a marker but yours is not the 002. The doubling would be obvious.

The 1936 is known for a Hub Break. The first hubbing on this 1936 cent was from a hub with a broken left leg of the R in LIBERTY. In Alan Herbert's book Price Guide to MINT ERRORS" Seventh Edition Alan classified it as II-E-13 Hub Break.
