I'm so new to this coin stuff and I don't know anybody that's into coins so all I know is what I read and see online. So this coin stood out to me. I'm not sure if I might have found something good or not could use your help please.
Well the tops of the motto are showing Machine Doubling. Note how they are affected? There is a push downwards on all of them if this were a doubled die, I would expect to see enlarged devices, not a reducing of the devices. The columns looks not straight from the die being over polished. Also the polishing weakened the 1 on the date. So the coin is not a doubled die, but from a normal die. The dies are aging, but not excessive. Just a normal coin from what I see. ( Machine Doubling is very common on the 1968-1972 cents) move on to the next coin. Nothing special on this one.
