GC has one somewhat similar die marriage example close to my grade: https://www.greatcollections.com/Co...1-PCGS-VF-20 Just for the record NGC varietyplus has 0 examples for any varieties of the 1870-S 50C. Also, I do not think it is a WB-3. mdpmedia Pillar of the Community United States 3546 Posts	Posted 09/26/2021 11:44 pm I based my conclusion from pgs. 152 - 153 of the 'Bugert-Vol-1-SF' .pdf entitled '1870-S': http://www.lsccweb.org/BillBugertBo...Vol-I-SF.pdf The LDS WB-1 is the one showing the very weakly struck date and the absence of minute vertical lines in the obv. shield compared to the EDS: I believe the U-shaped lines seen on my obv shield are negligent surface scratches and not die related.
