The 2 feathers are just a polished away third feather. To me they are no big thing. The grading companies like the high fees they get off these.

True coop, over polished dies. For me though, it's a great piece of the history when it comes to Buffalo nickels. This series was plagued with overused dies and excessive polishing. Value or no value, it's an Interesting niche market of the series to collect/study/appreciate for some. Also gives me a good excuse to collect LDS examples

Correct. Just like the 3-legger. But, they are fun to hunt for and not common.
