Are Those "bubbles" On 1885 Strait Settlements 20¢ A Type Of Error?

Albert Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 03/30/2022 03:00 am I saw similar bubbles or blisters on a US Dollar coin. It was explained to me at the time that the "blisters" appeared as "bubbles" caused by a separation of metals in the coin from "out-gassing" as a result of applied heat. I'm no expert here, just an offer of something to look into deeper as something similar was found on a coin I had. Report this Post to the Staff
