DGS

Can't say why, it just feels like a DGS.

Yeah, first generation "rattler" holder from 1986. This is when they used a type writer to type the info!

Just curious: Do you prefer a "rattler" holder or the new ones? I've also been told that many of the coins graded then were graded with stricter standards and many have been regraded/re-slabbed by PCGS on average they tend to receive a +1 score upgrade.

I personally do not mind any of the PCGS holders and think they all look professional even with the dot-matrix printer :) Much better then the new horrendous ANACS holders with awful colors and bubbly text (my personal opinion of course)

Duhh. You are right. 1986!

Yeah skylerdmpl, PCGS was tougher with their grading back then. I do not mind the rattler's at all. I'm with you, I do not care for the new ANACS holder. The PCGS holders are my favorite for the long term

Do you think they'd charge the full regrade for this? Very nice collector's item btw!

I just joined PCGS this year (Christmas present!) and can't wait to submit my first couple coins. Some ASE's and an offset error quarter to start (18%+) ... hoping for PR70's of course!

I think there would be a small fee for a reholder. Not planning on doing that. It will stay in there for ever
I hope your coins come back all MS70. I love error coins especially the OC's. I have a New Hampshire State Quarter that is 10% OC and several Lincoln Cents OC. Good luck with your submissions and of course, when you get them back.
