I just finished going through ten boxes of bank wrapped nickels. I still can't believe my finds. I actually had to contemplate whether or not to post this because it is still hard for me to believe. In total there were 58 War Nickels, 1 V nickel, 1 Buffalo, and one proof along with many many others.

Attached is an image of the War Nickels, V nic and Buffalo. I found an entire set of War Nickels minus the 43D. That is the only one I have yet to be able to find through 40 boxes.

War-Nickels,-Etc.-Unbelievable!!

WOW!! That's awesome! What are the dates for the V-Nickel and the Buffalo nickel?

V nickel was from 1908
Buffalo needed some nic a date and it turned out to be from 1925. I was surprised that I only found 1 buffalo but I certainly am not going to complain.

Wow...nice! Can't hurt to check for those varieties, such as the 1943/2...

I went through and looked for "double eye" and 43/2 without any luck. I do believe there are some double die reverses where the Mint marks above the domes have been doubled up. I am going to try to go through each coin and look a bit closer over this coming weekend.
Rest in Peace

And it also consumes a lot of SOAP! My hands were filthy after each box. I think we forget to realize just how dirty money is.

For some reason, warnickels are starting to turn up in boxes at a higher rate than usual. Got four in a box two days ago.

Great find! Keep in mind if the mintmark looks doubled and the rest of the reverse doesn't then you probably have an RPM and not a doubled die.
