Quote: can someone please educate me as to what to look for? I got 2 rolls yesterday at the bank. already looked through them for proofs/silver, what else is there?
Check those rolls for type 2's. The following link may help some. http://www.supercoin.com/iketypes/

Quick question for you all.
All of the banks around me, live in an older community, carry boxes of dollar coins cause the older generation loves them, along with 2$ bills.
I love the look of the coins, and was wondering what you guys could tell me about eisenhower roll/bag searching?
Years of notice? Any years of silver? ( not to important) Gold plated? Proofs?

Thanks Chuck, Vacation was Great. JPrine Very Nice looking specimens there Best of luck with the search through the 90 Shavill Right in this link is EVRYTHING could ever want to know about the Eisenhower dollar Series Enjoy and welcome to the Eisenhower Looney Bin No Straight Jacket required, (Though they are helpful at times) http://www.ikegroup.info/index.phpI was looking through the photobucket account and saw this It looks like Tripled MDD on the mint mark but it is no where else on the coin. Thoughts and opinions welcome and appreciated.

Tyler S First of all to CC (Coin Community) A Circulation Strike Eisenhower that is not all beat up from being in a bag with nicks and dings and some nice luster in my opinion is pretty special. especially in the early years of 71 and 72 when the Mint was changing things with Ike's all the time. Very Nice Terry

Quote: Picked up 90 Ikes at one of my local branch banks last week; haven't examined them yet. Here are a few of my latest purchases.
I like the way the lighting in your pics makes the coins look like Gold - very good and thanks for sharing. Quote: It looks like Tripled MDD on the mint mark but it is no where else on the coin. Thoughts and opinions welcome and appreciated.
Interesting find. Tyler S: I like how the wear makes the "IN" look like bold font. I haven't been on this forum long but glad you joined. I hope you find it as informative and entertaining as I do.

I just picked up a roll of 1974-S Silver Proofs. They are so beautiful they make me weep just looking at them. I wish mere pictures could capture their beauty, but here's the best I can do: And yes, I took the pictures with a red camera...

Thank you both, I have just recently begun coin collecting. I have learned as much as I have possibly can so far, I think this will be a hobby to last a lifetime.
