It's great that we still find silver, I have to see how to post photos on this forum
Yes, it is great to still be able to find silver, and, most especially lucking into it in roll form as I've done 2 of the past 3 years. 2009 dimes are also quite collectible and in demand (though not nearly to the crazy level of their nickel counterparts). As for posting photos, it is pretty easy to do from a PC - just make sure to get the photo down to a small enough size (312KB or so or less) before posting. I know nothing of how it would work on a wireless device though.

John, I am into coins but a little behind the scene with some items, what's up with 2009 dimes/nickels Thanks to the recession in 2008 into 2009, banks were not needing to order coins because people were turning in so much change... as a result, they didn't make any 2009-dated Nickels or Dimes after March of 2009. Nickels saw their lowest mintages in since 1959 for the P-mint coins, and the lowest since 1952 for the Ds. Those nickels which were produced, especially the P-mint coins, largely went to places like Puerto Rico and parts of Florida. Thus, it is extremely difficult to find 2009-P nickels in circulation - I find one every 15,000 coins or so, which is about the same as I've seen for others, save for the fortunate Florida residents. The D-mint nickels saw very sporadic distribution nationally. Southern California is one of the few places where they're not extremely hard to find - they're still a hard pull here (around 1 in 900 coins), but you will find them if you search enough coins. From what I've seen, most people have trouble finding better than one 2009-D per 2 boxes (4,000 coins). Dimes also saw their lowest mintages dating back to 1962 for the P-mint coins and 1955 for the D-mints... the dimes didn't get sent en masse to P.R. as the nickels did, and thus are a little easier to find (though still difficult) than their nickel counterparts.

Wow, I had no clue, guess I need to make a card with all this information, by the way, I there a way you can find the threads you subscribe to on this forum?
I just opened a penny roll and a 1972s came out and it looks mint. My pictures might be to large for forum I'll try and do something with the iPad, let me see.

4,200 Dimes searched over the past week didn't bring me any more silver, however, I did manage to find 2 2009-Ps and 4 2009-Ds.

Searched my first full real box of dimes today! Previous boxes were either 2014 bricks (in 2014, haha) or CWR that was probably someone's dump.
Got skunked, oh well. This is why I generally don't search dimes, I suppose.
Maybe I'll try another one in the future, but I think I'll stick to halves and cents unless there aren't any.

That's a bummer The Silver Searcher. Silver is pretty hard to find.

Still been searching dimes, but am behind in my posts... 7-19: Bought 500 CWR and found a 2009-D 7-22: 1,000 CWR brought me a 1958-D silver ... all but one of the rolls had extra coins in it - some had as many as SIX! I ended up with 68 extra dimes from the 20 rolls! 7-24 & 7-26: 1,900 MWR and 100 CWR were complete skunks... 7-29: 500 CWR brought me a 2009-D and also 20 extra dimes (same teller I had bought dimes from the previous Saturday). In all, I came out $8.80 ahead in two visits to him!
