I have had this roll laying around for a while and did not want to open it. After seeing the post by Gothic Florin I could no longer resist.

War-Nickel-Roll

War-Nickel-Roll

The results of this roll were:

1942P - 2
1943P - 18
1943S - 2
1944P - 9
1945P - 7
1945S - 2

Now if I could remember where I got it!

Don't forget to check those 43-P for double eye and 3 over 2 varieties.

That is the problem with me and rolls, is keeping the roll as a whole better than opening it and seeing what may lye with in. Which way is it better monetarily? Your opinions please!

nothing ventured, nothing gained, todd....open them up and see what you've got.

I'm not sure if the roll is worth more as a roll or 20 individual nickels. All things considered equal, it/they are of the same value, rolled or separate.

That's amazing for an OBW roll. How long have you had it?

Thanks for all the kind words. There were not any double eye or 43/42. I have had the roll for quite
a while and have been fighting the open it or leave it alone dilemma. Open it obviously, finally won. Now
if I can just get something good in my half dollar boxes.
