Johnny, that is a great coin! The rim wear around "AMER" might keep it from VG10.

What a great purchase! I saw your completed thread (with the dansco's as well). That is really nice. Any plans on upgrading to, say, a MS-65 1916-D Mercury dime in the near future =). That would be a lot of spousal tax huh

thanks, lol. Nahh, there are many MANY other coins I would buy with 25K other than a high grade 1916-d.(A nice 1916 slq, capped bust and draped bust gold half eagles...etc) I will probably be keeping this VG-08 for a long time, unless I need the money.
