Minor correction, it's not Showa yr.12 but Taisho yr.12, so the catalog number is Y#46 and the AD date is 1923.

1923 is the most common year for the type, mintage-wise. It lists in my 2006 edition Krause at $3 in EF; today you could probably at least double that based on silver content alone. I paid $2.75 for one from a dealer here in Australia in 2009.
