I am relatively new to actually collecting pennies and am interested in getting more information about the 1949 varieties.
I understand there is an "A" to denticles and "A" between denticles.
Can anyone please give me a little more information about this. I have a pile of these babies and want to know if I have a rare variety.
Thanks for any and all information.

Found this with pictures for you. The A to denticles is the wanted one so I hope you have a few of those :) also note some of the varieties shown at bottom of that page.

Thanks Dottir. Is it the first A or the second A in GRATIA?
