nalaberong Pillar of the Community Canada 2805 Posts	Posted 09/14/2013 1:49 pm A lateral image looks like a bunch of fine lines, but as the light hits it, a design is revealed... turn it 180 degrees, and a different design shows up. I photographed this by going out in direct sunlight, turning the coin so that the lines were perpendicular to the sun, and the image showed up. Then I used unFREEz (a free animated .gif maker) to animate it. I figured I'd open the floor to anyone else who wants to try photographing one. 25 Syrian pounds, 2003.
