Surfaces don't look original but maybe that is just the lighting in the photos. Certainly a nice, early example with lots of detail.

Now that you have raised the issue, I agree. There is also some damage on the reverse. I don't know if I agree about cleaning, but the damage makes it a moot point for me.

It is disappointing, as I like the coin otherwise. Most of the circulated examples of this date I have encountered have surface problems of some sort. I guess I will continue my search.
