I think it would be cool to have a coin like this but there's always the price to value dilemma.

I've see them sell for as little as $75 but most go for a few hundred bucks. It would be a cool coin to have.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The great thing about a big coin is that even a few percent of misalignment creates a visibly large feature. Good luck on the auction! =)

There's still 5 days on this auction and the bids won't really start until the last day. Also watching an off center double struck nickel that's a minor Greaser on the reverse. The 2nd strike bothers me a little bit though - Its maybe 5% on the obverse but not on the reverse. The reverse shows some flattening and like a Rim Fin or small Cud. Could the nickel have been tilted on the 2nd strike?

If reverse is normal than you are looking at a Misaligned Die example - MAD
