1857 "smoking" Seated Liberty Quarter - Have/Seen One?

oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7841 Posts	Posted 12/22/2011 10:28 am For some reason I am obsessed with the 1857 Smoking Seated Liberty quarter, not that I smoke or promote it, but I guess it is a form of taboo. I have read that the Top III TPG do not even recognize it for attribution. I would like to insert this "variety" in my 7070. Have you found that little scarp of fact yet? I'll have to check my collection. I think I have a quarter from that year! Edited for spelling.
