I have seemed similar designers initials..I suppose it could be both over polishing and Die Deterioration...just my best opinion Report this Post to the Staff

Die Deterioration just takes the edges of the devices and tears them apart toward the rim. Die Deterioration also shows unmistakable heavy flow lines in and around the area in question. This coin shows Die Deterioration without any obvious signs of over polishing. Report this Post to the Staff
