Zinc rot will get this coin soon I can see that but I thought it was at least interesting. Was the die scratched a gazillion times?

That coin came off a LDS die. It's also showing Die Deterioration on the left side of the coin.

We forget the possiblility of a die clash. The operator would polish the die heavily to remove transferred design.

yes I know these are common occurrences but still interesting for as many scratches from the die that are easily visible. not collectable but interesting non the less.
