@lincsus---I hope this nasty experience works out OK for you. Between this one and the one in the other thread you just started, your experiences support
the idea of staying away from ebay as strongly as (or more strongly than) any other stories I've heard yet. Good luck with your problem.

Even I am thinking of staying away from ebay for sometime now. Had back to back bad experiences on ebay. I am thinking of starting a thread of my experiences on ebay maybe sometime later. May help people be more careful.

@auptpdag1995, well it must be SS, right?
anyway, was hunting that tiger for awhile now ... once I thought it was too expensive and didn't get it, then regretted ... now I've found new home for the buddy. Gold monkey set from the series is the next step, but it is much less desirable, both for its mintage and it being monkey not tiger. )))

Used my ebay 10% coupon today on a 1997 Jackie Robinson gold & silver commemorative set. Been wanting it for a while. It is fairly low mintage and also a sports collectible. Even got the 2% ebay Bucks on the original amount and of course 1% cashback from my credit card.

What have you all used your ebay 10% coupon on?

I got an email from ebay this week. I guess I assumed everyone got it. Apparently not. So I have no idea what the criteria is to get it. This is just the 2nd time I've gotten it in all the years I've been on ebay. Maybe they thought I wasn't buying enough?

Picked up a 9 coin set from North American Hunting Club Super Slam 1oz. Nice little set in a display holder. Stopped at another LCS and was hoping to pick up some generic bullion but they were out. Had to settle for 3 ASE/3 ML. 15 oz in one day is a little more than I normally buy but with silver under $30 might as well get more while I can.

Two .925 Canadian silver quarters for $4.50 each, below spot >:D

Unfortunately my success was short-lived and I got ripped off on a $12 1905 Barber quarter at the next shop I went to...

I just love the simplicity of design on the Canadian Maple Leaf. I paid more than I wanted to for it, but tits my first maple leaf and so I'm happy with it. Gorgeous coin, no?

I almost never buy coins just for their bullion value but at a yard sale yesterday I picked up a partially filled Mercury/Roosevelt dime album with 90 avg. circ silver dimes for $24. I'll see what I can get for them at the next show.
