I picked a fat rim near date 1979 SBA from a tellers tray tonight. This is my second one and both came from tellers trays. I haven;t found one in the couple of boxes I searched.

This happened a little over a month ago for me, but I had a pretty good find from a bank in some gold dollars: I have almost a complete full set of coins from 1979 to around 2012, 2013 of the small dollars (missing some proofs and few NIFCs here and there). I continue to look through small dollars because you almost always find something worth keeping in them.

18 rolls ($450) searched today. Not quite as high as the find rate from last time, but still not too bad.
2003-P NIFC 2003-D NIFC 2008-P Sacagawea NIFC (AU/BU) 2008-D Sacagawea NIFC 2014-P Sacagawea NIFC 4 2012-P Grover Cleveland NIFC 2 2012-D Grover Cleveland NIFC 1 2015-P John F. Kennedy NIFC
I'd take 12 NIFC dollars over 12 40's-50's Wheats anyday!

I went to a cafe in Boston today and I bought a hot chocolate and a house-made Rice Krispies treat. I paid with a $20 bill and I saw a slot full of dollar coins in the register when the barista was giving out change. I asked if I could have my change back in dollar coins ($11.04) and she happily obliged. Out of the $11 in dollar coins, the two notable ones were a 2012-P Cleveland dollar (first term) and a One Pound coin from England (which she asked if I wanted before she gave it to me).
People who get off the MBTA subways and buses must spend their extra dollar coins in Boston businesses, if they don't already use them in ticket machines and fare boxes.

My Presidential Album (P&D) is now 100% complete from circulation, except for the 2016 issues. I've also found more than half of the proofs. The only coins which aren't MS are the Dwight D. Eisenhower - D and the Lyndon Johnson - D.

Picked up four dollar rolls from the bank last week. Only two coins of interest,
Benjamin Harrison NIFC-D, this coin is actually in rough shape and looks heavily circulated Lyndon Johnson NIFC-P, this coin looks brand new.
Everything else was a worn Pres or 2000 Sac.

Can anyone you remind me what years are NIFC on the small dollars?

All proof coins 1981 SBA2002-2008 SAC All Presidential since 2012 SAC coins minted in 2013, 2014, and 2015 are very low mint, so even though they are circulated, I keep all of them.

Tried my luck at a box of dollars: 1 x 1981 SBA (NIFC) 1 x 2002 SAC (NIFC) 1 x 2003 SAC (NIFC) 8 x 2007 SAC (NIFC and BU) 3 x 2008 SAC (NIFC and BU) 1 x 2013 SAC (Low Mintage) 1 x 2015 SAC (Low Mintage) 1 x 2012 Arthur (NIFC) 1 x 2012 Cleveland22 (NFC) 1 x 2012 Harrison (NIFC) 2 x 2012 Cleveland24 (NIFC) 1 x 2014 Hoover (NIFC) 1 x 2015 Eisenhower (NIFC) 1 x 2015 Johnson (NIFC) Nothing great, but the 2007 and 2008 SAC's may sell well in their condition

The 1981 SBA is a good find. I only average about one out of every 3-4 boxes. I think there will come a time that they will be worth a nice premium.

Went through my bag of SAC$1 to look over before I spend them. Found a 03-P, 04-P,10-P,10-D,12-P,12-D. No wounded eagles or Cheerios dollars. I threw the NIFCs in flips to put with my book of PRES $1. I just keep one of each year/MM. Not worth more than FV but still fun!
