My LCS charges 4% over spot for junk. Better deal than most go for on ebay.

I like "junk" silver but not ugly junk that looks bad. APMEX is one of the few places where I can buy AU / BU grade US 90% silver coins, so that is where I shop for them. As always, I look for good deals: free shipping, reduced prices, combo deals, etc. If I can't find a good deal, I just hold onto my money until I can. I have quite a few BU Kennedy half dollars, BU Roosevelt dimes, and proof Statehood Quarters. These might or might not be worth a few extra bucks to another bullion buyer but they are to me. I enjoy looking at them now and then and it's always nice to see their happy shiny little faces looking up at me from their stash location when I go to view them.

For more bulk, I also have ASEs, SMLs, and 5-oz SilverTowne bars. I like bars too but prefer those with serial numbers and wrapped in plastic so they stay nice looking for a long time. This probably doesn't add anything to their value but keeping them in nice condition and looking good makes me happy.
