Just says it all.. Take it this is what happens when the mint doesn't destroy dies? 111345067632
Looks like a more modern coin design the reverse is not A or B the hair on washington looks 90's ish? Kinda a cool story.. And a Daniel Carr coin? This has me curious.. I am guessing it is a 100% novelty coin struck over a 90% silver coin? Lol
It's a fantasy coin struck over a regular 90% silver Washington quarter. Daniel Carr is a sculptor who works with the Moonlight Mint. He prepares the fantasy coin dies to be used in an ex-Denver Mint Grabener coin press. His coins are "fantasy" coins. A 1933 quarter never existed, thus it's a fantasy coin. What he does is all legal, as he mints these on genuine silver quarters.
I really wish that there won't be a huge debate again about Carr. Some people like it, some people hate it, and some people don't care. The two sides won't agree with eachother. As simple as that. We have seen that - no matter which side is "right."
