randyw New Member United States 25 Posts	Posted 11/08/2014 7:41 pm Hello all; I was in a Dallas gol and silver exchange store today just browsing. they had a 1877s Trade dollar. From looking at pics in a coin book it looked real, was in vg to fine condition. Price was $149.00. Man I almost bought it but am so leery of fakes in this particular coin. How common are real ones and if real would that have been a good price? I couldn't take a pic of it, and the clerk didn't know they had it. she said if I didn't buy it she was getting it for her husband. Report this Post to the Staff

I'd say that it was only an OK price at $149. Check out pics of both genuine and counterfeit Trade dollars, to determine its authenticity. Report this Post to the Staff
