Edit - Looks like using the term North American is not correct. Just talking U.S, Canada and Mexico Yesterday the mailman brought me a Dansco 7220. They have been out of print for many years. That gives me the last album I needed so I can be working on a North American type set. In June I picked up the Canadian two album set. Anyone else here trying to complete these. I have the United States type (7070) complete. The Canada I think I need less then 15, some are coming in the mail. So there is more then 15 empty holes pictured. Of course the Mexican type I am just starting. I went through my world coin 2X2 box and found 17 so far. This morning I ordered the extra gold page. The gold page has holes for 7 gold coins, one to fifty Peso. Here are some pics of what I have so far U.S. type Next post Canada .... Edited by GR58 08/07/2014 10:00 pm

Well done. When you get to the point where there are only a few more to go, consider this. North America goes all the way down to and including Panama. There are a whole bunch of smaller countries south of Mexico. They are often labeled Central America but geographically part of North America. That would make one heck of a type set.
But you don't have to include them. That's the nice part about a type set; you can define it any way you want. And I STRONGLY suspect there are no albums for them.

GR58 - that's awesome. Hopefully I'm not too far off topic with my comments. I spent a few years living in Canada as a teenager and so I have a connection. A couple of years ago I decided to complete the Canadian Large Cents 1858 to 1920.
This is a fun set and very inexpensive.

Incredibly interesting and challenging endeavor! You have inspired me to do a similar collection.
