Who-Are-The-3-Arabian-Men-And-What-Does-This-Symbolise?


This was issued in 1979 by theRoyal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu but nobody knows why. Made of Arab bronze hallmarked with palm tree 79 P in rounded squares, also a further tiny hallmarking of a palm tree on the adjacent side to this.

Any info will be grateful.

Firstly I would take a clearer pic of the arabic under the industrial buildings as a member maybe able to translate it for you.

As a guess it could be

YANBU DEDICATION
In November 1979, King Khaled visited Yanbu to dedicate the new industrial site.

At the time, there was little evidence of extensive development at Yanbu, apart from initial housing and basic support facilities. Earthmoving was still the main activity on site, and work was going ahead on several infrastructure projects.

The Arabic legend written on the coin is "Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu. I'm going to google as may have cracked it lol. . . will let you all know soon.
