It does not mean that no one else bid. He most likely has a high max bid and other bidders that have not exceeded his max do not show up. Next, I do not know if the Cud's add that much value but this coin seems to be way over priced. Perhaps there is something special that the bidder recognizes such as a certain die marriage or other characteristic that pushes the value up. Best I can tell this is not a low mintage example, and is now priced around what a nice solid MS example would go for. Finally, maybe someone just really wants that coin! Mike
